An upright shrub with holly-like glossy, dark green leaves. Dense clusters of fragrant daisy-like white flowers with a reddish-brown eye are formed in the summer. Very popular along the coast as it is quite resilient and will tolerate salty conditions. Olearia also responds well to pruning and can be kept as a tidy hedge or a bushy shrub.

Grow in a sunny position in well-drained soil. Makes a good windbreak or hedge in coastal areas.
